Dooly County (Vienna, Ga.) jumped out to an early lead against Central (Talbotton, Ga.) and never looked back on the way to a 45-0 victory on Saturday.
The Bobcats scored 19 points in the first quarter. Dooly County scored on a
Chanin Hamilton touchdown run, a defensive touchdown and a touchdown pass by
Aj Smith to Hamilton.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Hamilton in the first quarter, DC led 38-0 at the half.
The Vienna school's most effective player was Hamilton. He ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
The Bobcats went into the matchup giving up only 15.8 points per game.
Dooly County also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 30-7.
With the win DC extended its winning streak to three games.
Central (0-6) goes up against Hawkinsville in a A Region 4 game matchup next week, while Dooly County (5-1) locks horns with Marion County also in a A Region 4 game.
