Yolo Salas Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Liberty Bell's Yolo Salas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Salas rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Liberty Bell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Salas and Liberty Bell will square off against Brewster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Teague Came Up Big in Manson's 28-0 Win
Manson found a leader in Jaxon Teague as the team took down Tonasket on Friday. Nobody could stop Teague as he rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Teague and Manson will look to defend their home field on Friday against Okanogan at 7:00 p.m. The game will pit Teague up against the Bulldogs' star RB David Huffstetler. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Baker Smith Turns in Season-Best Performance
Baker Smith posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
For the year, Smith has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 12.5 rushing yards per game.

Alejandre Posts Huge Game in 57-6 Loss
Ivan Alejandre put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 202 yards on 13 of 25 attempts.
Lake Roosevelt is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Alejandre and Lake Roosevelt will face off against Tonasket at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Okanogan Wins 20th-Straight Thanks to Carter Kuchenbuch
Okanogan picked up their 20th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carter Kuchenbuch. Kuchenbuch turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 55 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 46 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.
Kuchenbuch is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Manson on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kuchenbuch saw the Trojans), he rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.
