It was a good run, but Dora unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cold Springs Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Aviana Goodmon was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Bailey Reid was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Cold Springs, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-5-1.

Dora has already played their next match, an 8-1 loss against Hanceville on the 8th. As for Cold Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 defeat against Fairview on the 8th.
