The Aberdeen Tigers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Teton on Saturday. Aberdeen has not had much luck with Teton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Canon Foster, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Knittel, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds.
Aberdeen's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Teton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Aberdeen will head out on the road to face off against Grace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Teton, they will square off against Malad at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday.
