Friendship Tech Prep Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: KIPP College Prep, who was ranked 18th at the time (Friendship Tech Prep Academy was ranked third). Friendship Tech Prep Academy claimed a resounding 91-33 victory over KIPP College Prep. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mekhi Polk out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Polk a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Haskins, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Christ School didn't have too much trouble with Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on Thursday as they won 56-39. The 56-point effort marked the Greenies' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 59.2 points. As for Christ School, their victory bumped their record up to 20-1.
