Mason Hoke continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Santino Almazan, who scored 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why Eastmark lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alex Burns. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Burns scored a full 32.4% of Eastmark's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Rhys Walcott, who scored 16 points.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Eastmark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will be playing at home against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Mountain View is ranked 14th, while Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is ranked 35th). As for Eastmark, they will head out on the road to face off against Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
