The Hauser Jets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 55-32 walloping at the hands of Switzerland County. Hauser lost against Switzerland County in their previous head to head back in December of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 54-33 score last time.
Several Jets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Norah Berkenstock, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Berkenstock is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Kilps , who scored four points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Hauser's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11. As for Switzerland County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hauser will be home for the holidays to greet Triton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Triton Central is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games. As for Switzerland County, they will play host again and welcome New Washington, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
