Lake Washington hasn't had much luck against Eastlake recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Kangaroos will be playing at home against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lake Washington 3.3, Eastlake 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Rodrigo Montano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lake Washington has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eastlake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
