West Point proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pointers have posted since September 11th.

West Point has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Carver College and Career Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. West Point will face off against rival Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Carver College and Career Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Middlesex at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
