Petal gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Monday. They never let the South Jones Braves onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.

What's more,  Brock also racked up three  hits, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024.  Kamryn Lofton was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
Having lost for the first time  this season, South Jones  fell to 2-1.
