Castle View is 0-8 against Regis Jesuit since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Castle View Sabercats will head out on the road to challenge the Regis Jesuit Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Castle View's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Rock Canyon on the road and fell 65-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Castle View has scored all season.
Braden Monson put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored six points.
Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit faced ThunderRidge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Regis Jesuit suffered a tough 65-45 defeat at the hands of ThunderRidge on Friday. Regis Jesuit has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Castle View has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Regis Jesuit, they dropped their record down to 13-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Castle View was dealt a bruising 88-52 loss at the hands of Regis Jesuit in their previous matchup back in February of 2023.
