Millard West (Omaha, Neb.) beat Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, Neb.) 38-6 on the strength of a superb game by dual threat quarterback
Ross Drwal, who threw two touchdown passes while running for two more.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Drwal in the first quarter, the Wildcats was up 21-6 at the half.
Millard West grew its lead to 25 points entering the fourth quarter. MW scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Drwal to
Skyler Monaghan.
The loss came as a surprise for the Knights, who entered the game ranked No. 9 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Nebraska, while the Omaha school was ranked No. 18.
Lincoln Southeast's lone touchdown came on a 38-yard run by Luke Gifford in the first quarter.
