Liberty had won five straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 14-7 to make it six. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Chowchilla Tribe 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since March 9, 2024.
Macie Webster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ari Aguayo was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Jimenez, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.
