Wheaton North came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bartlett Hawks on Wednesday. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

While Wheaton North won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Trey Hubner, who had 13 assists and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last seven games. Tom?s Manrique also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Wheaton North's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Bartlett, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

Coming up, Wheaton North will venture away from home to take on Geneva at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bartlett, they will host Huntley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
