Awaken Christian found their leader in underclassman Jaylen Jordan, who scored 27 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abel Sebsebie, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Awaken Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for White Pine, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Awaken Christian and Founders Classical Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Founders Classical Academy is ranked 74th, while Awaken Christian is ranked 49th).
