Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They took down the Gig Harbor Tides 39-23 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Abes also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Lincoln was led to victory by Sione Kaho and Jadeon Scranton. Kaho threw for 135 yards and a pair of TDs, while Scranton rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns. Another back making a difference was Eonytus Kitiona, who gained 36 total yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lincoln was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
