The Provine Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against Clinton, falling 76-36. Provine has not had much luck with Clinton recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Taelar Felton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clinton, scoring 30 points along with seven assists and six steals. The game was Felton's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caitlin White, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Provine's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Clinton, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Provine will head out on the road to face off against Canton at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Canton will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. Clinton will be home for the holidays to greet Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Germantown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
