Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 114-24, which was the final score in Simon Tech's tilt against the Pirates on Tuesday. Simon Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-11.
Despite the defeat, Simon Tech got a solid performance out of Karlos Hodgson, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 79.2% of Simon Tech's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Animo Pat Brown has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Simon Tech, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.
Animo Pat Brown won a match that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by the Huskies 1-0.
