Eastern Hancock has gone 7-1 against Northeastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Royals will look to defend their home field against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Eastern Hancock gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Wes-Del with a sharp 14-6 win. The victory was nothing new for the Royals as they're now sitting on four straight.
Nieko Engleking was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Engleking was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025.

Like Eastern Hancock, Northeastern also got a great game from a two-way player: Zella Cook. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cook was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and three runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Eastern Hancock has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Northeastern struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eastern Hancock came out on top in a nail-biter against Northeastern when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 6-5. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
