On Friday Lexington take on Carrollton at 7:00 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Lexington have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
It was all tied up at the half for Lexington and Knob Noster last Friday, but Lexington stepped up in the second half. Lexington captured a comfortable 52-36 win over Knob Noster.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Carrollton, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They managed a somewhat close 22-16 victory over Richmond.
Lexington took their contest against Carrollton the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 49-21 score. Lexington's win shoved Carrollton out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
