The Dublin Fighting Irish will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Dooly County Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Dublin is out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Dublin ended up a good deal behind Bleckley County and lost 42-28.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kameron Hampton, who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Hampton was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. Micah O?neal was another key contributor, rushing for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Dooly County aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Friday extended their overall winning streak to three. They strolled past Treutlen with points to spare, taking the game 26-12.
Dooly County's victory bumped their season record to 3-3 while Dublin's loss dropped theirs to 4-2.
Dublin strolled past Dooly County in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 by a score of 21-6. Does Dublin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dooly County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
