Ashton Billings and Ryan Almeda certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Billings scored 26 points along with five rebounds, while Almeda scored 16 points. Billings continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Marcus Goss Jr. was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Altamonte Christian's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 10-7. As for Lake Howell, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Altamonte Christian will head out on the road to take on Lake Mary Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Mary Prep is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Lake Howell, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lake Minneola at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
