The Boiling Springs Bubblers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 64-54 victory over Camp Hill. Given Boiling Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while Camp Hill is ranked 575th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Boiling Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Lucido, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lucido has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Ascione, who scored 16 points.
Boiling Springs' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-5. As for Camp Hill, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-12.
Boiling Springs will be playing at home against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Camp Hill, they will head out on the road to take on Middletown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
