Oxford has struggled against the Colonels recently, as their contest on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Oxford's loss came despite strong showings from Brady Marqoupis and Nolan Remington. Marqoupis scored 18 points, while Remington scored 16 points. That was a full 36.4% of Oxford's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Oxford has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for South, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
