Meanwhile, Trinity Christian Academy came up short against Cardinal Newman on Tuesday and fell 72-63.
Despite their loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jaden Lopez, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Xander Eason, who scored 16 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
American Heritage's win lifted them to 3-0 while West Boca Raton's loss dropped them down to 1-4.
Thursday's game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: American Heritage have been dynamite from deep this season, having nailed 45.3% of their threes per game.
