On Friday, The Santa Barbara Dons got themselves on the board against the Dos Pueblos Chargers, but the Dos Pueblos Chargers never followed suit. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 52-0 win over the Chargers. The result was nothing new for Santa Barbara, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Leading Santa Barbara to victory were Abel Renteria and Koa Herrera. Renteria threw for 194 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, while Herrera gained 118 total yards and three touchdowns. Winston Bartley did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Santa Barbara's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points per game. As for Dos Pueblos, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
