Abbeville Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday.  Annston Braddy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Alli Kate Causey, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Lizzy Stewart also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 Abbeville Christian Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive  games.
The  win  got Abbeville Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Chipley, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-5.
 Coming up, Abbeville Christian Academy will head out on the road to  challenge  Holmes County  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 7.4  runs per game this season. As for Chipley, they will host Malone  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
