Waterford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jose Osorio, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Osorio has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Aguilar, who scored 13 points.
Sierra Ridge Academy/ROP bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.6 points per game. As for Waterford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
Sierra Ridge Academy/ROP is on the road again on Friday and play against Waterford at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Waterford will be home for the holidays to greet Hilmar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hilmar is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
