Ambassador Christian School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabrielle Gophin led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 steals. Gophin is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Faulkner, who went 7 of 8 on her way to 18 points and five steals.
Ambassador Christian School was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uwharrie Charter Academy). They enjoyed a cozy 68-49 victory over Eastern Randolph on Thursday.
