  Mason Ligenza made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Ligenza has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Ligenza was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs.
 North Schuylkill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Tamaqua, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Friday. North Schuylkill hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.7  home runs per game. However, it's not like Tamaqua struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.7. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
