Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Allen Academy). They managed a 43-39 victory over the North Zulch Bulldogs on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Allen Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for North Zulch, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Allen Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-27 defeat against Burton on the 10th. As for North Zulch, they will head out on the road to challenge Alpha Omega Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
