Cornerstone extended the longest winning streak in Missouri-Arkansas Independent (8 Man) this week by beating Boulevard Christian, 58-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Spartans.
Cornerstone took down Boulevard Christian 58-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brenden Powell threw for 148 yards and ran for 13 yards in the win.
Cornerstone's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Powell has thrown for 308 yards this season, while Terren Pullum has 10 catches for 172 yards.
Jerry Collier's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on Jerry Perdue's team. Powell during the win.
