The Vintage Crushers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Petaluma Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Vintage will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 507th, while Petaluma is ranked 119th).
Vintage won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Justin-Siena, falling 77-47. Vintage has struggled against Justin-Siena recently, as their game on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Loss or not, Vintage got some senior leadership from Miles Macpherson and Brady Hearn. Macpherson scored 15 points along with five rebounds, while Hearn. scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Hearn scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Rory Holland, who scored six points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, Petaluma earned a 44-33 win over Sonoma Valley on Saturday.
Vintage's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-12. As for Petaluma, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
