After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hernando, Des Arc was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hazen Hornets a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Grace Knight was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Emma Buckner was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Knight wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Des Arc lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
