Madison Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brittany Campbell, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Campbell pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eden Carter, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Madison Central were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The victory got Madison Southern back to even at 3-3. As for Madison Central, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Madison Southern will take on Buckeye Valley in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. As for Madison Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Great Crossing at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
