Piscataway Vo-Tech and South Amboy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. Piscataway Vo-Tech suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 50-30 defeat at the hands of Dunellen. Piscataway Vo-Tech has struggled against Dunellen recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, South Amboy came up short against Mother Seton on Friday and fell 33-20. While losing is never fun, South Amboy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while Mother Seton is ranked 139th).
Piscataway Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for South Amboy, they bumped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
