The home team had come away the winner the last five times Ascension Christian and Woodlawn-B.R. had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Everything went Ascension Christian's way against the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers on Wednesday as Ascension Christian made off with a 13-2 win. Ascension Christian hasn't had any issues with Woodlawn-B.R. recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Ascension Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Woodlawn-B.R., their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ascension Christian will head out to face off against Brusly at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Brusly will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Ascension Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they will head out on the road to square off against Port Allen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
