The biggest upset of the week belonged to James M. Coughlin, who took down 194th ranked Crestwood, 42-20.
Dallas extended the longest winning streak in Wyoming Valley 3A this week by beating Lake-Lehman, 51-6. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Pittston's James Emmett and Joe Starinsky have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Emmett has thrown for 1056 yards this season, while Starinsky, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 38 catches for 711 yards. Zac Evans from the Crusaders leads the league in rushing with 1410 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Berwick takes on Dallas. The Bulldogs have allowed 123 points this season, while Bob Zaruta's team has given up 138.
The Mountaineers took down the Knights 51-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
