Brandon Valley came out on top against Pierre T.F. Riggs  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Lynx blew past the Governors 9-1. Considering the Lynx have won nine matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Gabriel Kriech spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kennedy Fitts, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. That's the most  doubles  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Macy Lembcke also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Brandon Valley's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-3. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record  this season.
