The Mahopac Indians will take on the Rye Garnets at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both  are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 On Tuesday, Mahopac got the win against Poughkeepsie  by a conclusive  3-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Indians.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mahopac took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13,  25-13.
  Bella DeChico was  her usual excellent self,  getting ten  aces, five  digs,  and three  kills. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andriana DiVincenzo, who  had four  aces and three  kills.
 She wasn't the only good server: Mahopac  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 27  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Rye's way against Harrison two weeks ago as Rye made off with  a  3-0 win.
 Rye never let Harrison on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19,  25-22.
 Mahopac is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record  this season. As for Rye, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
 Mahopac came out on top in a nail-biter against Rye when the teams last played  back in September of 2023, sneaking past  3-2. Will Mahopac repeat their success,  or does  Rye have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
