The Walsh Jesuit Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 73-70 victory over Euclid. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thai Duncan, who scored 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myckel Davis, who scored 17 points.
The victory got Walsh Jesuit back to even at 7-7. As for Euclid, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
