Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Chatfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Denver South only rushed for 58.
Arvada West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Chatfield, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Thursday's matchup might be decided in the on the ground. Arvada West has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 182.1 rushing yards per game.
