The Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER will head out on the road to square off against the George Washington Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Kensington came up short against Mastery Charter South co-op [Mastery Charter Lenfest/Mastery Charter Thomas] and fell 55-46.
Jovan McCants put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 27 points. McCants is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Deanthony Rodriguez, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, George Washington lost to Simon Gratz at home by a decisive 66-49 margin on Thursday.
Kensington now has a losing record at 6-7. As for George Washington, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.
Kensington came up short against George Washington in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 84-78. Can Kensington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
