There's no place like home for the Carver Vo-Tech Bears, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 38-33 victory over Dunbar on Thursday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Carver Vo-Tech has scored all season.
Carver Vo-Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dorrian Sands, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kalial Colclough, who scored 11 points.
Carver Vo-Tech's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for Dunbar, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Carver Vo-Tech will head out on the road to take on the Rams at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Digital Harbor will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Bears are ranked 68th). As for Dunbar, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Foresters at 5:15 p.m.
