The McAlester Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight defeat. They fell 70-58 to Memorial. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McAlester in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost six in a row.
Memorial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antonio Love led the charge by scoring 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Love has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
McAlester's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
McAlester will head out on the road to take on the Ropers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Memorial, they will be playing at home against the Chieftains at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
