THESA will head out on the road to face off against the UME Preparatory Academy EAGLES at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
THESA took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on DasCHE with a sharp 10-3 victory.

The team relied heavily on Ivy Martinez (2029), who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Martinez (2029) is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Ella Gray (2030), who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: THESA lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, UME Preparatory Academy put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let Newman International Academy get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the EAGLES in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.
Alisia Moreno was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Moreno was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, UME Preparatory Academy let Annabelle Cravey and Zoe Reyes run wild. Cravey got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Reyes went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Cravey has posted since back in February.
THESA's record now sits at 4-1. As for UME Preparatory Academy, their record is now 12-6-1.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. THESA hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. However, it's not like UME Preparatory Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .354. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
THESA got the 'W' when the teams last played back in February against UME Preparatory Academy by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for THESA since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
