After four games on the road, Seton Catholic Central is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Lake Placid Bombers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, Seton Catholic Central came up short against Chazy and fell 37-28.
Defeat or not, Seton Catholic Central got some senior leadership from Aiden Pearl who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds and Sam DeJordy who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. DeJordy scored a full 28.6% of Seton Catholic Central's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Lake Placid's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Bolton Central 59-20. Lake Placid has not had much luck with Bolton Central recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Seton Catholic Central's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Lake Placid, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Seton Catholic Central was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Placid in their previous meeting back in February, winning 40-27. Will Seton Catholic Central repeat their success, or does Lake Placid have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
