San Juan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 271 points over their last four games.
San Juan pushed their score all the way to 67 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Grand County 73-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (66), San Juan still had to take the loss.
San Juan's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Done, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Tripp Palmer who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Done has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Rj Dalley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, San Juan were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grand County only racked up eight assists.
Meanwhile, North Sevier's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 62-52 to Kanab. North Sevier has not had much luck with Kanab recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
San Juan dropped their record down to 7-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Sevier, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
San Juan beat North Sevier 56-46 in their previous matchup on January 5th. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Bennett, who scored 19 points.
