Alvord took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Valley View Eagles 63-0. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 33-29 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.
Dalton George had a dynamite game, rushing for 51 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 96 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Another player making a difference was Zane Fuentes, who rushed for 76 yards and one TD.
Alvord didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brayden Snider, Rhett Richey, and Wyatt Small picked up one apiece.
