Midland Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Hyde Park Panthers to the tune of 66-32 on Friday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Hyde Park saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cadence Mabry posted four points. Mabry is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zhi Harris, who earned 12 points.

The win (which was Midland Christian's ninth in a row) raised their record to 28-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.2 points. As for Hyde Park, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 29-4.

Coming up, Midland Christian will take on Brook Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brook Hill will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Midland Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Hyde Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
